Interested in what people here have actually completed rather than started. Could be anything made physically - woodworking, knitting, ceramics, cooking, metalwork, sewing, leatherwork, electronics, embroidery. What are you genuinely proud of finishing and what would you do differently
Blue is the colour.

ElPresidente

Built a small wall-mounted key and coat hook rack from reclaimed scaffolding planks. Took one afternoon, cost almost nothing, and it is the most used thing I have made. The lack of complexity was the point - I wanted something functional not impressive

Shane

Knitted my first full garment - a simple ribbed crewneck for my partner in Aran weight merino. Took about six weeks of evenings. The finishing and seaming is what actually separates a good handknitted garment from a sloppy one and I finally understood that doing it

SwiftQuarry

Restored a vintage 1970s cast iron pan I found at a car boot for two pounds. Stripped the rust, re-seasoned it five times, and it is now the most used pan in the kitchen. That thing will outlast everything else in the house

Drifter

Made my first sourdough loaf that I was actually proud of after about twenty failed attempts over three years. The key change was getting a proper Dutch oven and letting the overnight cold proof run a full 18 hours. Everything before that was technically bread but not worth sharing
It's not a bug, it's a feature

HeartbreakKid

Ceramic bowl on a pottery wheel. After six sessions at a local class I finally got a bowl that does not look like an accident. The centring is the skill and once you have it even slightly it changes everything about what is possible
