What hobby did you pick up as an adult that you wish you had started decades earlier

Plenty of hobbies get treated as things you are supposed to start young or not really bother with at all, learning an instrument, taking up a sport, getting into serious cooking, but a genuinely large number of people end up discovering something as an adult that quickly becomes a real passion, often accompanied by a slightly frustrated feeling that they wasted years not knowing how much they would actually enjoy it.

Starting later in life does come with its own real advantages too, usually more disposable income to properly invest in equipment or lessons, more patience than a distracted younger version of yourself might have had, and a clearer sense of what you actually enjoy rather than what you think you are supposed to enjoy. So what is the hobby you picked up well into adulthood that you genuinely wish you had discovered decades earlier?

Woodworking, started in my late thirties and now genuinely cannot imagine my free time without it. Wish someone had pushed me toward it as a teenager instead of team sports I never actually enjoyed.

Learning guitar in my forties has been genuinely humbling but incredibly rewarding, and I have far more patience for slow progress now than I ever would have had as an impatient teenager.
