I collect vintage postcards from places I've never actually been, found the first one in a thrift store years ago and now have a genuinely embarrassing box of them from cities across three continents

Not asking about the usual stamps and coins here, specifically curious about the genuinely odd niche thing people have quietly built a collection around over the years

I collect airline safety cards from every flight I've taken, started as a joke and now have a serious binder of them going back over a decade

Collect matchbooks from restaurants and bars, most of which don't even exist anymore, feels like a small physical archive of my own life at this point

I collect old maps of places that don't exist anymore under those names, fascinating to see how borders and city names have shifted over decades

Collect vintage keys with no idea what they open, found the first one at an estate sale and now have well over a hundred with no practical purpose

I collect rocks specifically from every beach I've ever visited, sounds silly written out but each one brings back the exact memory of that trip

Collect old cassette tapes even though I don't technically own a working player, something about the physical object itself feels worth holding onto regardless

I collect menus from restaurants that have since closed, started completely by accident and now it's become a deliberate small archive project
