Post your current PC spec and your next upgrade

[WanderingSentinel]

Here is a simple thread for anyone with a home built or upgraded PC. Post your current spec, what you mainly use it for and what you plan to upgrade next. It is a great way to see what everyone is running, compare builds and get advice before spending money. Prebuilt machines and laptops are welcome too

A typical post might include the processor, graphics card, memory, storage, power supply, case and cooling. Photos are welcome, especially if there is a story behind them. Mentioning roughly when you built it is useful as well, since prices and parts change so quickly. Budget builds are just as interesting as monster machines

Upgrade plans are particularly timely at the moment. Memory and storage prices have risen sharply over the past year as AI data centres buy up supply, which has made some upgrades much more expensive. Some people are waiting for prices to settle, while others are buying now in case things get worse. Graphics cards remain the most expensive part of most gaming builds

My own PC is a Ryzen 7 7800X3D with an RTX 4070, 32GB of DDR5 memory and two terabytes of NVMe storage, in a mid tower case with air cooling. I built it in early 2024, and it handles everything I play at 1440p. My next upgrade will probably be more storage, since my game library keeps growing, but I am waiting to see what prices do

What is your current PC spec? And what is your next upgrade?
