How someone treats a server at a restaurant. Genuinely one of the fastest tells I've found, someone can be perfectly charming to me and reveal something completely different the moment they think the person bringing their food doesn't matter

I think we all have these little instant read moments, tiny behaviors that aren't necessarily fair as a complete judgment of someone but that stick with you regardless and shape how you see them going forward

Curious what people's personal version of this is, the specific small thing that quietly recalibrates your whole opinion of a person almost instantly

How someone reacts when they're wrong about something small, tells you everything, some people just say oh you're right and move on, others will argue an obviously lost point for ten minutes out of pure ego

Whether someone actually listens during a conversation or is just waiting for their turn to talk, you can tell within about thirty seconds and it colors everything after

How someone treats animals, especially ones that aren't their own, someone being kind to a stray or someone else's pet tells me a lot

Whether they say thank you to literally everyone in a service role, cashiers, delivery drivers, doesn't cost anything and instantly makes me trust someone more
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Whether they ask follow up questions about you in a conversation or just talk exclusively about themselves the entire time, such a simple tell and such a strong one

How someone treats waitstaff when the order comes out wrong, calm correction versus immediate hostility tells you basically everything you need to know

How someone reacts to a plan changing last minute, some people roll with it gracefully, others have a disproportionate meltdown over something completely minor
