What does a thought look like in the moment before it becomes a sentence?

Genuinely strange question but curious what people imagine happens in that split second gap between having a thought and actually putting words to it. Feels like something happens in there that language never quite fully captures afterward. Curious how differently people picture that transition

Could be a shape, a color, a texture, whatever comes to mind first. Doesn't need to make logical sense at all

Mine feels like fog condensing into a single visible drop, formless until suddenly it isn't anymore. The words always feel like a slightly worse version of whatever the fog actually was. Never quite manage to say exactly what I meant
