Doesn't need to be impressive by any objective standard, just something living related that you've been putting effort into and feel good about lately. Could be a windowsill herb garden, a pet learning a new trick, a single plant that refuses to die despite your best efforts to kill it accidentally

My tomato plants are finally producing after a rough start to the season, disproportionately proud of them at this point

Amber Drifter

My dog finally learned to actually stay instead of just looking at me confused, took embarrassingly long but we got there eventually
RTFM and then ask

Sophie92

A single succulent that has survived three different apartments and my consistently terrible watering schedule, absolute unit of a plant honestly

Golden Tara

My cat has started bringing me random socks as gifts, not sure what I did to deserve this but I'll take it happily
Measure twice, post once

Quarry

Herb garden on my windowsill is finally thriving after I moved it to actually get proper sunlight, small change but huge difference

This thread is such a nice low stakes one, everyone's small proud moments add up to something genuinely wholesome to scroll through
Forum veteran. Battle hardened.

Red Builder

Finally got a basil plant to survive longer than two weeks, which feels like a personal breakthrough :)

It is not thriving exactly, but it is alive and producing leaves, so that counts as success in my book.

Previous attempts ended in quiet disappointment.

There is a tomato plant on the balcony that has somehow decided to go all in this year.

Started as a tiny thing and now it is taking over the corner like it pays rent.

First proper red tomato showed up this week and it felt weirdly rewarding :D
Still figuring it all out

The cat has learned to sit by the window at the exact time birds show up.

Not catching anything, just watching like it is a live TV channel.

Very focused, very proud of itself 8)

Cheeky Blake

Managed to revive a plant that was definitely on the brink.

Leaves were drooping, soil was questionable, whole thing looked done.

A bit of attention and now it is slowly bouncing back.

Feels like winning a small battle.

There is a tiny herb garden attempt happening on a windowsill.

Half of it is doing great, the other half looks like it is reconsidering its life choices ::)

Still, progress overall.

Serpent

A spider has taken up residence in the corner of the room and has been quietly dealing with flies.

Not exactly a pet, but definitely appreciated.

We have an understanding now.

Sunflowers this year actually grew tall instead of just existing.

One of them is now taller than expected and slightly intimidating :-\

Did not think that would happen.

Wrench

The dog has finally stopped digging up the same patch of garden.

No idea what was so interesting there, but peace has been restored.

Grass is slowly recovering :)

Orbit William

A random wildflower patch appeared after just leaving part of the garden alone.

Turns out doing less sometimes works better than trying to control everything.

Nature doing its thing.

Tom91

Managed to keep a succulent alive through a heatwave.

That should be easy, but past experience suggests otherwise :-[

This one seems determined to survive.

TransformerCipher

A small pond setup now has actual frogs visiting.

Did not expect that level of success, but it has turned into its own little ecosystem.

Very cool to watch :o

There is a houseplant that has been ignored for months and somehow looks better than ever.

Not sure what lesson to take from that, but it is thriving regardless :P
