Sundays have a special feeling. The weekend is not quite over, but the week ahead is starting to loom. Many of us try to cram in chores and errands, but every now and then a properly lazy Sunday comes along with nothing planned at all. Those are precious

My perfect lazy Sunday starts with a late breakfast, ideally a fry up with plenty of tea. Then a slow walk somewhere green, followed by an afternoon on the sofa with a film, a book or the football. A roast dinner in the evening, and an early night with no alarms set for the next morning. Bliss

Everyone's version is different. Some people prefer to stay in pyjamas all day, binge watching a series. Others love a long pub lunch, a trip to a car boot sale or a few hours pottering in the garden. Some people find the perfect Sunday involves no screens at all. Some people find doing nothing harder than it sounds

Weather makes a big difference too. A rainy Sunday indoors can feel just as perfect as a sunny one spent outside, as long as there is nothing you have to do
