Celebrate good times come on .....

Congrats to QuantumDay and Codeberg and QK and the rest of the team

Sinead77

25k posts is a proper milestone. Feels like one of those numbers that sounds impossible until you suddenly scroll up and realise how much time has passed. 50k seems ridiculous now but so did 10k at one point :)

Falcon

Good times come on... and then somebody immediately doubles the target ;)

Congrats though. At this rate 50k becomes less of a goal and more of an inevitable side effect of hanging around too long.
I read every reply. Even the bad ones.

Sienna74

25k is impressive but the bigger question is whether half of them were useful posts or just fast fingers :P

Either way, keeping a forum active that long deserves credit.

Hollow Vulture

Feels weird seeing numbers like that because most forums these days struggle to keep people posting at all.

25k means people kept coming back. That's the real achievement.

Estuary59

50k next target? Dangerous game. That's how hobbies quietly become full time jobs :D

NovaPrime

Remember when getting your first hundred posts felt like an achievement?

Now people are talking in tens of thousands. Perspective changes fast.

Kieron83

Congrats. Though personally I'd stop making targets and just enjoy the place.

The moment it turns into chasing numbers it loses some of the fun.

PhilippeMercadal

25k posts and at least 24,500 arguments settled forever... until someone bumps a 9 year old thread ;D

Craig95

Not bad at all.

Question is how many of those posts were actual discussion and how many were stuff like "+1" and "lol". Forum archaeology would be entertaining.

KeyboardWarrior

That amount of posting probably means you've seen every forum cycle possible.

Growth, drama, redesign complaints, people announcing departures and returning a week later :)
Press F to pay respects

Candle

50k sounds achievable if the place stays active.

No need to rush it though. Milestones feel better when nobody is watching the counter.
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Tel86

Pretty impressive. Also slightly terrifying.

Makes me wonder what the oldest surviving thread is and whether anyone still remembers why it started.

Baz_26

Congrats on 25k.

Though there should be a special badge for anyone crossing that line without ever posting in the wrong section once. Probably impossible :P
Question everything. Especially this.

NeutrinoX74

Half expecting someone to say "those are rookie numbers" but 25k is a lot anywhere.

Nice milestone.

Policy Cipher

This kind of thing only happens when people enjoy being around each other.

Post counts are the visible bit, community is the actual achievement.

Mesh Gareth

Watch out, because once you say 50k publicly people start posting nonsense just to help push the number up ;)

RicFlair_X

Part of me misses old forum culture where milestones like this actually felt like events.

Congrats and onward to whatever number comes next.

Coder53

25k posts means there are probably entire eras of inside jokes archived somewhere.

Future members will never understand half of them :D

Highland Builder

Could celebrate by locking your account at exactly 25,000 and retiring undefeated 8)

Or go for 50k and see what happens first.
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Molly_62

That's commitment.

Meanwhile some of us disappear for months then come back acting like we never left :-[

Foundry69

Milestones are cool but activity over years matters more than giant bursts.

25k steady posts beats 25k spam every time.

SouthernBuffer

Congrats. Also curious what your most liked or most regretted post was. Everyone has at least one they wish stayed buried ::)

MondayMoan67

The dangerous thing about targets is once 50k arrives the next thread becomes "100k next target?"

There is no escape :P

LuckySentinel

This is one of those stats that sounds normal until you divide it by years and realise how often someone had to show up and type stuff.

StoneCold

Good times indeed.

Now somebody make a montage of classic posts, ancient signatures and forum drama highlights for the celebration :)

TheRizz

25k deserves recognition.

50k? Possible. But only if there are still enough people around to keep conversations worth replying to. That's the part that matters most.
