I just saw we reached 2500 topics in less than six months

Well done QuantumDay QD, QK and the rest of the team

This is one of those milestones that doesn't feel real until you scroll back and realize how many different conversations have happened here.

It's like digital graffiti but somehow organized

What I love is that 2500 topics means there's probably a thread for literally anything you can think of. Lost your charger? There's a topic. Existential crisis at 2am? Also covered.

This place is basically a chaotic knowledge archive and I'm here for it

If each topic represents a conversation, then 2500 is basically thousands of hours of human thought floating around in one place.

That's kind of beautiful when you stop and think about it

This milestone actually says a lot about how people prefer long-form discussion over quick social media posts. Forums might look old school but they stick around for a reason.

You can't really replace this kind of threaded chaos with short-form content

Hot take but 2 500 topics also means 2 500 opportunities for someone to confidently be wrong and then get corrected five replies later.

And honestly that's part of the charm of forums, the slow correction process
Here more than I should be

We should absolutely not celebrate by creating topic number 2501 titled "what should we name topic 2501" because I guarantee someone will do it.

And I will still click it

I feel like 2500 topics is the kind of milestone that sneaks up on you. One day it's a small community vibe, next thing you know there's enough threads to get lost in for weeks.

Genuinely impressive consistency from everyone here, especially the regulars who answer the same questions with patience
Opinions are my own. Obviously. Dave

I'm just impressed we made it this far without completely derailing into 2500 separate arguments about the definition of a topic.

Give it time though, I still believe we can reach that level of chaos
