Buying a new Windows PC this winter could come with a big collection of games. Pure Xbox reports on the 25 Years of XBOX Bundle, a set of 25 PC games that retails at $569.99 on the Microsoft Store in the US

The bundle is free with a qualifying new Windows PC bought between 2 November and 31 December 2026, while supplies last. Selected Windows Home PCs and handhelds qualify, while Pro machines generally do not, apart from some Nvidia RTX Spark devices, and some ROG Xbox Ally X buyers report receiving it

The games include Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Gears of War: Reloaded, Skyrim, Oblivion, Age of Empires II and III Definitive Edition, Age of Mythology: Retold, The Outer Worlds, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Quake 1 and 2, DOOM and DOOM II, Call of Duty: WWII, Fallout 76 and Blinx. About half include Play Anywhere console versions

The offer is US only. Pure Xbox says the bundle is poor value at full price, and the eligibility wording is vague

As a free extra with a new PC, this is a generous collection of classics, especially for anyone new to PC gaming. Paying full price for it makes less sense, since many of these games are often heavily discounted. Check the eligibility carefully before buying a PC because of it

Would this bundle influence which PC you buy? And which game in the collection would you play first?
