Xbox Game Pass is heading to American phone contracts. Windows Central reports that eligible T-Mobile US customers will be able to get Game Pass through the carrier's new T-Mix plans from November

It is described as the first time a major US carrier has built Game Pass into its mobile plans, although customers of EE in the UK have had Game Pass Ultimate deals for years. T-Mix replaces fixed bundles with a monthly allowance of Picks that customers spend on the perks they want

There are three tiers, called Standard, More and Loaded. Game Pass Premium costs two Picks and Game Pass Ultimate costs three. T-Mix More starts at $75 a month for one line and includes two Picks, enough for Premium, while T-Mix Loaded starts at $95 a month for one line with three Picks, enough for Ultimate

Multi line accounts also receive Picks, and customers can swap their perks up to four times a year. The price and Picks for the Standard tier were not given, and T-Mobile has not spelled out exactly who counts as eligible

Bundling Game Pass with phone plans makes a lot of sense for Microsoft, especially with cloud gaming on mobile. The Picks system is flexible, but it also means choosing Game Pass over other perks. It will be interesting to see how many customers spend their Picks on gaming

Would you choose Game Pass as a phone plan perk? And does the Picks system appeal to you?
