What underrated game that deserved way more attention than it actually got

[Blake_73]

A specific game came out the same week as a much bigger blockbuster release and got completely buried despite genuinely deserving more recognition on its own merits

Curious what people's own hidden gem pick is, the game you genuinely think about constantly that almost nobody else in your life has actually heard of

[Vanessa26]

A specific indie title with incredible writing that got completely overshadowed by a much bigger release the same month, still think about it regularly

[Drift Sentinel]

A sequel to a beloved franchise that actually improved on the original in almost every way and still somehow underperformed commercially for reasons I've never understood

[Di46]

A puzzle game with a clever core mechanic that never got the marketing push it deserved compared to flashier competitors that same year

[Puma37]

A story driven game with one of the best narratives I've experienced in years, and almost nobody I know has ever even heard of it

[HeartbreakKid]

remasters of an older cult classic that quietly improved everything about the original and still flew almost entirely under the radar on release

[Kev5]

A small studio's debut game with stunning art direction that got completely lost in a crowded release month full of bigger budget competitors

[LifeAdmin58]

I found a cooperative game that's one of the best couch coplay experiences I've had, completely overlooked in favor of bigger multiplayer titles
