Gaming hardware world has infinite options and trade-offs. Monitor size refresh rate resolution. Keyboard mechanical vs membrane. Mouse sensitivity DPI. Headphones open back closed back. Chair ergonomic vs gaming chair. Most setups are aspirational fantasy or half-finished projects. What's your actual setup? What works? What did you waste money on? What cheap item surprised you with quality? Gaming is 30% hardware 70% software and driver configuration but everyone focuses on the shiny hardware.

1440p 144Hz is the sweet spot. High enough resolution good enough framerates. Go 4K only if you're rich

Mechanical keyboard is worth it. You're using it hours per day. Good one costs $100-150 and lasts years

Built my chair out of office furniture. Way more comfortable than gaming chairs half the price

Mousepad actually matters. Big one. Smooth cloth. Improved aim more than picking up mouse

RGB is pure marketing. LEDs don't improve gaming. They just distract at night
