Everyone's got that one game they poured genuinely embarrassing amounts of time into that somehow nobody else has ever heard of. Could be a tiny indie title or something from years ago that just never got the attention it deserved. Curious what everyone's hidden gaming obsession actually was

These underappreciated favorites rarely come up in normal gaming conversations since almost nobody around you has played them. That doesn't make the hours spent any less real or any less enjoyable though. Let's give these hidden gems a proper moment

Share yours below along with roughly how many hours you're willing to admit to. Bonus points if literally nobody you know has ever heard of it
Here more than I should be

A small text based adventure game completely consumed a summer of mine years ago that nobody in my friend group had ever even heard of. No fancy graphics, just pure writing and choices, and somehow it stuck with me more than most big budget games have. Still think about certain story branches occasionally. Genuinely underappreciated as far as I'm concerned

Barely anyone talks about it online, but a small rhythm game from years ago somehow ate up more of my free time than most mainstream titles ever have. Still holds up perfectly whenever I revisit it

Neon Harper

Baffling as it sounds to most people, a niche train simulator absorbed an absurd number of my hours.

Something about the slow pace is genuinely relaxing to me. Not everyone gets it but I don't need them to

Nobody around me has ever played the old point and click mystery game I've replayed more times than I'd like to admit. Worth every single hour
RTFM and then ask

There's a small puzzle platformer from years ago that I completed multiple times despite it having almost no online presence at all. Never seen anyone mention it anywhere. Still recommend it constantly to anyone who'll listen
All original content unless stated

Way too many hours have gone into a tiny cooking management game that seems to have almost no player base at all. Still one of my most played games of all time regardless

An unreasonable number of hours went into a tiny farming sim that barely anyone I know has ever played. Genuinely one of my favorite games ever made
Always open to a good discussion

Underrated barely covers it. An obscure puzzle game I've completed multiple times that genuinely nobody I know has ever heard of deserves way more credit
