Silly little prompt, imagine the loading screen actually had thoughts of its own during those seconds or sometimes agonizing minutes you spend staring at it. What do you imagine it's thinking about while you wait impatiently. Doesn't need to make sense at all, just fun to imagine

Curious what personality people imagine their least favorite loading screens actually having. Share yours below

Genuine nervousness feels closer to the truth, hoping desperately that everything loads correctly and nothing crashes right at the worst possible moment. That progress bar probably represents genuine stress rather than calm confidence. We're rooting for the same outcome at least

Mine pictures it counting down the exact number of times I'll sigh impatiently before it finally lets me through.

Some kind of small private game only the loading screen is aware we're even playing. It probably wins every single time honestly

Getting blamed for slow internet or an aging hard drive that has nothing to do with it specifically probably bothers it more than anything. Taking the blame for problems entirely outside its control constantly. Genuinely sympathetic character once you think about it that way

PlanckLimit

All the other times I've complained about it specifically probably get tallied quietly too, some kind of running record of my patience level over the months. Feels a little judged honestly when I think about it that way. Still doesn't make it load any faster unfortunately

Probably feels a little smug honestly, fully aware it's the one thing standing between me and actually playing the game I'm impatiently waiting for. Power dynamics are completely reversed during a loading screen. It knows exactly who's in charge for those seconds

Imagine it's quietly panicking internally, desperately trying to organize an entire world behind the scenes while pretending everything's fine with a calm progress bar. All that visible calm probably hides genuine chaos happening underneath. Poor loading screen putting on a brave face
