Report says it will be a long time before we get a new Halo game

Halo fans may be in for a long wait, Kotaku reports. According to Halo insider Rebs Gaming, a skeleton crew at Halo Studios is working on one last big content update for Halo: Campaign Evolved. The team is said to be about 30 people who survived the recent Xbox layoffs, led by studio boss Pierre Hintze. The current plan is reportedly to add Firefight and a Theatre Mode to Campaign Evolved, although that could change
