Nintendo's latest Indie World showcase had plenty for Switch 2 owners to look forward to. Video Games Chronicle has listed all 23 games shown during the 15 minute presentation, with 16 getting their own segments and seven appearing in a closing montage

Witchbrook's January release date was one of the headline moments. Other highlights included City of None from a co-creator of Celeste, due in 2027, and Tenjutsu from the designer of Dead Cells, coming to Switch 2 in 2027

Winds of Viridia, with music by Kevin Penkin and Christopher Larkin, arrives on Switch 2 in early 2027 with a free demo available now. Sword of the Sea came out on Switch 2 the same week, while Slime Rancher 2 arrives in January 2027 and R.E.P.O. later in 2027

Other dates included Super Battle Golf on 25 March 2027, My Arms Are Longer Now on 11 March 2027, Everything Is Crab on 26 January 2027 and Spirit Crossing on 16 November. Haunted Paws is due in May 2027 with a demo out now, and Bao Bao's Cozy Cleaning Services launched straight after the show

It was a strong showcase, with several well known indie developers involved. Slime Rancher 2 and R.E.P.O. are big names, and new projects from the Celeste and Dead Cells teams will excite a lot of people. Indie games remain one of the Switch family's biggest strengths

Which Indie World game caught your eye? And are indie games the best reason to own a Switch 2?

It's only banter... mostly
