Call of Duty has arrived on Nintendo's new console, and it seems to be a great port. Nintendo Life has reviewed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on Switch 2 and given it a score of 9 out of 10

The campaign has 16 missions and lasts six to eight hours, running at 30 frames per second. The DMZ extraction mode runs at between 30 and 40 frames per second

Multiplayer is the highlight, running at 60 frames per second, which is what most competitive players will care about. The game costs $69.99, the same as on other platforms

This is the first Call of Duty on a Nintendo console for many years, and part of Microsoft's agreement to bring the series to Nintendo hardware. A good port helps prove that big third party games can work on Switch 2

A 9 out of 10 is a strong score for any port, and 60 frames per second multiplayer on a handheld is impressive. It suggests the Switch 2 is more capable than some expected. Call of Duty fans who own one now have a new way to play

Will you play Call of Duty on Switch 2? And does a strong port like this change how you see the console?
