Start clearing space on your console now. Engadget reports that Grand Theft Auto VI reportedly needs a 210GB download on PS5

The figure comes from a dataminer account called PlayStation Game Size and was backed up by Insider Gaming, although Rockstar has not confirmed it. That is 61GB more than the 149GB Red Dead Redemption 2 needed on PS4 in 2018

It is also more than half of the roughly 362GB of usable space on a 512GB Xbox Series S. Preloading opens on 12 November, ahead of the release at midnight on 19 November, and the standard edition is listed at $79.99

Insider Gaming warns that a day one patch could add to the download. It is also unclear whether the figure includes installation overhead, and only the PS5 size has been reported so far

A 210GB download is huge, but not surprising for one of the biggest and most detailed open worlds ever made. Players with slow broadband or small consoles will need to plan ahead. Series S owners in particular may have to delete several games to make room
