A permanent Pokémon store is coming to London

[Leopard10]

UK Pokemon fans are finally getting a permanent home. Nintendo Life's Jim Norman reports that The Pokemon Company has announced a permanent, physical Pokemon store in London, due to open by 2029

The store will offer exclusive merchandise and what The Pokemon Company calls one of a kind experiences for trainers of all ages. It will be the first of several permanent stores planned outside Asia, although no other locations have been named yet

There are still plenty of unknowns. No address or area has been confirmed, and the official announcement does not use the Pokemon Center name used for stores in Japan. Fans will be hoping it is similar, though

Until now, UK fans have relied on temporary pop up shops, such as the one at the European International Championships at ExCeL London. Those have often had huge queues, which shows how much demand there is

Pokemon Center stores in Japan are famous, and visiting one is on many fans' wish lists. A London store would save a lot of people a long trip. 2029 feels a long way off, but at least it is happening

Would you visit a London Pokemon store? And which city should get the next one?
