As the forum has grown and the community has developed a shape, it seems worth asking periodically whether the board structure reflects how people actually want to talk here. Some boards get heavy traffic and others are quieter. There may be topics the community cares about that do not have a natural home.

This is a genuine question rather than a rhetorical one. I do not have a list of answers I want to hear confirmed. If something is missing, name it. If a board is underused and you know why, say so.

A dedicated science board separate from quantum would be useful. There is interesting biology, climate, and physics news that does not fit cleanly anywhere.

Mental health and wellbeing. Not therapy, just a space for honest conversation about that stuff without it being buried in general discussion. The Social partly serves this function but it is not explicit about it.

I think Food and Cooking is missing. There are enough cooks here that it would generate real content. At the moment food conversations happen in Hobbies and General which feels slightly wrong.

Travel. Maybe with the World Cup and summer coming it would get traction. General Discussion handles it but a dedicated space would allow longer ongoing trip threads.

The Post Games board is a bit buried relative to how enjoyable it is. Not a missing board but a visibility issue.

Books separate from Short Stories. Short Stories is for original work, which is right. But there is nowhere obvious for discussing books you have read. Reading currently happens across General, Social, and Hobbies.
