What boards would you like to see the most?
I'm not always right, but I'm never wrong ;)

Maybe get Qday.forum online first. We can tweak later

GoldbergFan_X

Need some more video section for funnies/oddities

DarkLantern

Yeah that is the sensible route. The problem with most advice online is it assumes a clean install which most machines are not.

Post back with what you find and we can go from there
Opinions are my own. Obviously. Dave

Completely agree, and it is frustrating that this is not more widely known. A lot of guides overcomplicate it, usually one or two sensible changes do most of the work.

Worth trying before anything more drastic
Measure twice, post once

Bright Hermit

Can't argue with that. Proper useful that

Investments stocks and shares as it's all in finance section

A dedicated Home & Garden board would be brilliant. So many posts end up in General Discussion that are actually about DIY, renovations, plant care, that kind of thing. It's a natural fit for this community. People here love practical advice and real experiences. That's exactly what home projects need.

What about a Careers & Work board? Salary negotiations, job hunting, workplace drama, career changes. The money board covers some of this, but it's more about finance than the actual work experience. There's enough overlap with jobs and income to make it relevant without being a stretch.

Mental Health & Wellness deserves its own space. It's currently scattered across Health, Social, and sometimes Poetry. A dedicated board would give people a clearer place to find support. The tone here is generally respectful and non-judgmental. That's exactly what that conversation needs.

LurkerPrime

Parenting & Family would fill a gap. There's bits of this in Health and Social, but it's not cohesive. School issues, childcare, balancing work and home, teenage drama. All of that is its own universe. Parents need a place to talk without derailing other threads.

StringTheory95

A Creative Projects board for anything that doesn't fit Poetry or Art. Writing, music, crafts, coding side projects. The key is it's about the process, not just the finished product. People sharing works-in-progress, asking for feedback, collaborating. That's valuable.
All original content unless stated

Grim Socket

Food & Cooking would be a natural fit. Recipe swaps, kitchen gear, meal prep, restaurant reviews. It's universal but personal. Everyone eats, but everyone eats differently. The practical, experience-based tone of this forum would work really well for food talk.

Sustainability & Green Living is increasingly relevant. Energy efficiency, zero waste, ethical shopping, climate anxiety. It touches on Money, Home, and Politics, but doesn't fully fit any of them. A dedicated space would let people go deeper without feeling off-topic

ClusterCrossing

Local & Regional boards could work. UK North, UK South, London, Midlands, Scotland, Wales. People often want location-specific advice. Transport, services, events, meetups. It would decentralise the London-centric bias that creeps into general threads. Worth considering

A Learning & Education board. Online courses, university life, returning to study as an adult, skill-building. The forum already has a knowledge-sharing culture. This would formalise it. People could share resources, ask for recommendations, discuss their learning journeys.

Gaming deserves better than being buried in Tech. The community plays everything from mobile puzzles to hardcore PC gaming. A Gaming board would cover reviews, recommendations, multiplayer meetups, and the culture around it. Tech is too broad. Gaming is specific enough to stand alone.

Undertaker_EU

A Travel board would be fun. Not just deals and destinations, but the actual experience. Solo travel, family trips, budget hacks, horror stories. The community has enough people who travel regularly to sustain it. And it's a nice counterbalance to the more serious boards.
