Close some World Cup topics

Suggestion to mods.

There are some older world cup topics that keep being bumped re earlier rounds that are still actively being posted and the newer ones going to be second page. Perhaps close some of the earlier ones

We don't over moderate on here. If someone wants to post about NEW YEARS on July 1st they can do.

I understand all the football world cup topics on a daily basis are making it harder to keep up with the discussing Wimbledon, but it is very temporary with the final on Sunday. We can stick it out till then.

For that reason it will go alot quieter whilst the footballers go on their holidays  before the new football domestic season begins. We havent created a 'football' board. nor just one for the world cup as was previously suggested.

We are agile and prepared to change things if needs be.

I didn't think about that. Yes it makes sense it will go back to normal post-Sundays World cup finale.
