Would be really handy to have AI Prompts forum to share your best prompts

A dedicated AI Prompts board could be useful, especially if it is kept focused on sharing practical examples rather than becoming a place full of random copy-pasted requests. A good thread could show the original goal, the prompt used, what model it was tested with, and the final result.

For example, someone could post a prompt for creating product descriptions, then other members could improve it by changing the instructions or adding missing details. That kind of discussion would be much more valuable than just a list of magic phrases.

The only concern would be moderation. Prompt sharing can get messy quickly if every other post is just "make me rich" or "write my whole website" requests. A few guidelines would probably keep it useful

The idea could be expanded beyond just prompts. A board about practical AI use would probably attract more discussion, with prompts being one part of it.

For instance, one member might share a prompt for organizing a home budget, another might show how they use AI for learning a language, and someone else could discuss mistakes they made when relying on AI answers. Those real experiences are often more interesting than the prompt itself.

A prompt by itself is like handing someone a recipe without explaining what the meal is supposed to taste like. Context matters a lot.

There is a danger of making an AI Prompts board into a dumping ground for low effort posts. We have all seen those threads where someone claims they found the "ultimate prompt" and it turns out to be three lines of vague instructions :\-)

If it happens, I would like to see people explain why a prompt works instead of just posting it. Understanding the reasoning behind a good prompt is more useful than copying someone else's words.

Maybe require a small template: purpose, prompt, example output, and any changes made after testing. That would make the board feel more like a workshop.

Still, I can see the appeal. A well-organized collection of community-tested prompts could become one of the most useful parts of the forum.

Not sure this needs its own board yet. A lot of AI conversations overlap with existing topics like programming, writing, graphics, and general technology.

Creating a new section can sometimes split discussions that would have been better together. Someone sharing a prompt for a coding assistant might get fewer replies because the conversation is hidden away in an AI-only area.

Maybe a better first step would be an AI prompts tag or prefix. If enough content builds up, then it could naturally become a full board later.

That said, seeing a collection of useful prompts from experienced members would definitely beat searching through endless social media posts full of questionable AI tips
