Discount codes are everywhere, but many of them are expired, fake, or copied across dozens of sites. The best places to check are usually the retailer's own newsletter, account dashboard, abandoned basket emails, trusted cashback sites, browser extensions, student or key worker discount services, and the brand's official social pages. The trick is not to trust every code site blindly, but to try a few reliable sources before checkout and avoid anything that asks for too much personal information

Newsletter codes are usually the ones that work best for me, especially the first order discounts

I have had mixed luck with code sites. Half the time the codes are dead or only work in another country

Abandoned basket emails are underrated. Some shops send a discount if you leave it a day

Cashback plus a small discount code is often better than wasting ages hunting for a huge fake one
