Need a JD Sports discount. After some trainers and gym gear. Prices are high compared to other sites

Myles

Check their app, sometimes exclusive deals

Louise84

They rarely do big discounts unless sale is on

JD10OFF worked for me recently

That is the sensible approach. I would only bother if the saving is real and not just headline nonsense.

Good to know about
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Not worth cutting corners on that part. Post a photo when it is done

That is pretty much it. Nice one. :-[

Same here. Happens to me all the time.

Good thread this
Opinions are my own. Obviously.

Have you tried the JD Sports app? They sometimes have app-only offers or member discounts that are not obvious on the main site.

Worth checking the sale section too because trainers can drop quite a bit without needing a code. :)

I have found JD codes can be a bit hit and miss. One week there is nothing, then suddenly a random 15% off code appears when you are not even looking.

The classic bargain hunter problem: the deal arrives after you already bought the trainers. ;D

If you have a student account, check whether you qualify for student discount as that is usually one of the more reliable options.

Also worth comparing with other retailers because sometimes JD's "sale" price is still higher than somewhere else. :P

Sometimes clearing your basket and leaving it for a day can trigger an offer email too. Not guaranteed, but retailers do use those little reminders.

The online shopping games begin. ;)

No code to share at the moment, but keep an eye on cashback sites as well. A small cashback percentage combined with a sale can sometimes beat a discount code.

Every little saving helps when buying a full gym outfit. :)

Try signing up for their emails if you have not already. Retailers love giving the best codes to people they are trying to pull back in.

Not always exciting getting marketing emails, but a discount can make the spam folder worth visiting.

The prices have definitely crept up over the years. Trainers that used to feel like a normal purchase now feel like a serious decision. :(

Hopefully someone finds a working code because gym gear is expensive enough without paying full price.
Still the champ until the next update drops
