I'm trying to upgrade my home gym. Should I just stick with adjustable dumbbells, or invest in one of those smart trainers that track reps, form, and performance?
Be excellent to each other

Smart trainers are amazing if you like data. They track every set, give form feedback, and connect to apps with structured programs. Definitely motivates you to stick with it. One good option I've seen on OFFER is the Bowflex SelectTech 552 Adjustable Dumbbells-simple, sturdy, and you can pair them with smart trackers if you want metrics later

Adjustable dumbbells are still solid. They're cheap, simple, and nothing breaks down. Smart trainers are cool, but you're paying a lot for data you might not fully use

SuperPosition

Much cheaper than a gym sub and convenient. FTW
Football is life. Everything else is just details.

I think I'll start with the Bowflex dumbbells and maybe add a smart trainer later if I get serious about tracking metrics
Opinions are my own. Obviously. Dave
