Looking for an eBay code. Buying some refurbished tech and accessories. Any active promo codes?
The truth is usually more complicated than the headline

SAVE10 worked for me on selected sellers

codeberg

Seller offers can be better than codes sometimes

Quanta

Watch items and you might get a private offer

Not sure that is universally true. For me the sign of a good game is when I am still thinking about it when I am not playing it.

Can't really go wrong with it

Feels like the right read on it. Curious to see how this develops

Same here tbh. Good shout

That is the sensible approach. Cheers for sharing that

Spot on. You are not wrong.

Ha, fair enough

Quanta

That is my read on it too. When I ran into something similar the biggest improvement came from stripping things back and checking the obvious basics first.

I am always wary when something sounds amazing at first glance. Not a life changer but it adds up

QuantumDay

Yeah that is about right. Always the way.

Nice one. :)
I'm not always right, but I'm never wrong ;)

Red Builder

That matches what the more reliable sources are saying. The incentive structures in media mean certain angles get more coverage than they deserve.

That is my read on it anyway

Myles

That is pretty much what I took from it too. That is my read on it anyway

Beth3.0

That works in theory but the prep is more involved than it sounds. Usually the annoying part is not the job itself, it is fixing the bit you did not plan for.

Happy to answer questions if you get stuck

GlassKnight89

Not sure about that part. Thanks for the thread

Seems like it from what I have seen. The speed of the news cycle means most things get forgotten before they are properly resolved.

Curious to see how this develops

NightOwl

Exactly what I found. I find co-op makes almost any game better if the other person is up for it.

Worth a try if you get the chance

That is the practical answer rather than the theoretical one. The problem with most advice online is it assumes a clean install which most machines are not.

That is interesting, I had read something that seemed to contradict it. I appreciate people explaining the detail rather than just the headline.

Worth reading more about this

I think eBay UK has mostly moved away from broad discount codes and more into targeted promos now. It depends on your account, browsing history, and sometimes pure luck.

Bit annoying compared to the old days when you could just plug in a generic code and get something off, but I guess that's how it goes

DarkMatter23

Quick tip, check if the seller is already running a promotion instead of focusing on a sitewide code. A lot of items are discounted directly without needing anything extra.

Also worth keeping an eye on bank cashback offers, they sometimes stack nicely with eBay purchases

Not sure if it's just me, but eBay feels more like a personalized coupon system now rather than a universal discount platform. Two people can search the same thing and see totally different deals.

So yeah, you might be better off logging in and browsing for a bit to see if any offers trigger on your account
Real till I die.

Honestly, eBay UK codes come and go so fast that half the time you're chasing something that expired yesterday. I usually just rely on the offers they push in-app rather than hunting for codes.

Still, if you do find one that works, it feels like winning a tiny lottery

SwiftQuarry

I swear every time someone asks for an eBay code, there are ten sites claiming to have one and none of them actually work. It's like digital treasure hunting with no treasure.

That said, I did randomly get a 10% off targeted offer last month, so they definitely still exist, just hidden
