Not asking about the latest AI model or the biggest enterprise release. Asking about the thing you started using at some point this year, maybe after a recommendation or by accident, that has quietly become part of how you work every day.

Could be a tiny utility, a note-taking app, a browser extension, something you wrote yourself. What has genuinely changed how you work?

Obsidian with the Canvas plugin. I resisted it for years because I had a system that worked. The switch has made thinking visible in a way I did not know I needed

A keyboard launcher I found mentioned in a comment somewhere. Sounds trivial, saves probably twenty minutes a day in aggregate. That is more than most productivity tools deliver

A local AI model running on my own machine for anything I do not want going to the cloud. The capability is not quite at the level of the API models but the privacy tradeoff is worth it
