With the hardware landscape shifting fast and ARM builds becoming mainstream, curious what distros people here are running day to day in 2026. Are you on something rolling like Arch or EndeavourOS, sticking with Ubuntu LTS, or gone full NixOS? What drove the switch if you changed recently?
Opinions are my own. Obviously.

Current

Moved from Ubuntu to Fedora 42 six months ago and have not looked back. The Wayland support is genuinely solid now and DNF5 is fast

NeutrinoX

NixOS is the answer once you get your head around it. Reproducible builds and rollbacks mean I have not had a broken system in over a year

Sentinel96

EndeavourOS on my daily driver and Ubuntu Server LTS on everything else. Best of both worlds without having to think too hard

LurkingLegend

Arch is still Arch. The AUR alone makes it worth the setup time and I have been running it long enough that maintenance is minimal
Still figuring it all out

Pilgrim

Pop!_OS for desktop because System76 actually care about the experience. The tiling window manager baked in is underrated
Press F to pay respects

QuantumLeap

Raspberry Pi 5 running Raspberry Pi OS on ARM64 for home server stuff. Rock solid for years now

Been on openSUSE Tumbleweed and the YaST tooling has saved me more than once. Rolling but with proper QA behind it
