Classic thread revival for anyone who remembers their actual first computer, not your current rig, the very first one you ever used or owned personally. Beige box, hand me down family PC, first laptop, doesn't matter

Bonus points for specs if you actually remember them, and extra bonus points if you remember what you mostly used it for. Half of us were probably just playing Solitaire and dialing up to a screeching modem
