AI workstation builds push hardware hard, and heat becomes a real problem once you start running long workloads. Liquid cooling used to feel like enthusiast decoration, but now it can be the difference between stable performance and a noisy thermal mess. I still wonder whether it is worth the maintenance risk for most users, especially when a well planned air cooled system can be simpler and more reliable

Liquid cooling is great until it leaks or the pump fails. I prefer boring reliability

For high end builds, managing heat is not optional. The only debate is how fancy you get

A lot of people buy liquid cooling because it looks serious. That does not mean their workload needs it

Noise matters too. A powerful workstation that sounds like a vacuum cleaner is miserable to live with
