Intel is reportedly delaying parts of its next desktop processor rollout as pressure from AMD continues increasing. Supply chain issues and manufacturing complexity are said to be contributing factors behind the schedule changes.

The CPU market became far more competitive again over the past few years. Consumers benefit from that competition, but Intel clearly lost the comfortable dominance it once enjoyed.
