Grammarly Free vs Premium vs Legacy Office Add-ins

I write a lot for work and personal stuff. Is Grammarly Premium really worth it in 2026, or is Grammarly Free enough? I also saw some legacy Office add-in floating around

Premium is great if you care about tone, style, and plagiarism checks. The AI suggestions are way beyond basic grammar. Free works for emails or casual posts, but that's about it

The legacy Office add-in? Don't bother. It's old, frozen in time, and doesn't get AI improvements. Only useful if you need offline editing in a very old Word version
