Every Linux conversation turns into distro wars. Ubuntu vs Debian vs Fedora vs Arch. People get weirdly tribal about which one is best. They're all good. They're optimized for different goals. Ubuntu is beginner-friendly corporate-backed easy. Debian is stable and rock-solid. Fedora is cutting edge. Arch is minimal and you learn everything. They serve different purposes. Saying one is objectively best is like arguing what's the best car. Depends on what you need. Pick one matching your use case and stop pretending your choice validates you as a person. This applies to everything in tech but distros bring it out.

Arch made me actually understand Linux because I had to configure everything. That's valuable even if it's overkill for many uses
Works on my machine :D

Ubuntu is fine. People bashing it usually could be equally productive on it but won't admit it
