I'm thinking about upgrading my laptop for AI-heavy work (image generation, coding, etc.). Should I go for Apple MacBook Pro M3 Max - 2026 or Dell 16 Laptop? Or is something older like Razer Blade 16 still fine?

If you're doing AI stuff, the MacBook Pro M5 Max is insane. Neural engine is baked into the chip, battery life is insane for a powerhouse, and it handles image/video AI apps like nothing else
It's only banter... mostly

Dell 16 Laptop is solid too-more open for Windows-based AI software, and you can upgrade RAM/SSD more easily than the MacBook. If you rely on Windows workflows, it's worth considering

I guess I need to decide between macOS AI ecosystem vs Windows flexibility. Might wait for hands-on reviews before committing
Posted from a machine that definitely needs a clean install
