Why do you think so many people still don't trust crypto even after all these years

[Inland Aidan]

Think the early scam associations genuinely stuck in a way that's been hard to shake even as the underlying technology has matured considerably since then

[Christopher_27]

Honestly think the volatility itself is the biggest trust barrier, hard to view something as a clear store of value when the price swings that dramatically

[Scholar95]

Yeah agree the early scam era left a lasting mark, plenty of people I know still associate the whole space purely with fraud from that period

[ECWCole36]

Nah think it's mostly generational, older people are more skeptical of anything intangible regardless of how the technology has actually matured

[Olivia78]

Depends heavily on someone's personal experience for me, anyone who's been burned by a specific project understandably stays skeptical of the whole space afterward

[Dom66]

Weirdly think the environmental concerns around certain coins have kept a lot of otherwise open minded people skeptical of the whole space

[QuantumOracle80]

Same theory as most people here, the scam history combined with genuine volatility makes trust a hard thing to rebuild even years later

[Midnight Wolf]

Genuinely think media coverage focuses disproportionately on the failures and collapses rather than any of the actual legitimate use cases that have developed
