Split mine between a hardware wallet for anything long term and a small amount on an exchange purely for convenience when I actually want to trade

Curious what people's actual real setup looks like, not the theoretically ideal security advice, the genuine habit you actually maintain

Hardware wallet exclusively for anything meaningful, learned the hard way after an exchange I used years ago had a scary security scare

Honestly keep almost everything on an exchange purely out of laziness, know the security risk and haven't gotten around to properly fixing that habit yet

Yeah split setup here too, feels like the right balance between genuine security and actually being able to use some of it conveniently

Genuinely paranoid about security after reading enough horror stories, multiple hardware wallets spread across different locations at this point

ECWDreamer22

Nah cold storage entirely for me, the peace of mind is worth the extra inconvenience of not having instant access

Marcus95

Same split as most people here, hardware wallet for the bulk of it, small trading amount on an exchange for anything more active
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Weirdly still keep a small amount on a mobile wallet purely for everyday spending purposes, everything else sits properly secured elsewhere
