Used it once for a specific online purchase purely out of curiosity, felt genuinely novel at the time and honestly haven't repeated the experience since

Curious how many people have actually spent it as intended versus purely holding it as a speculative asset

RightAbout

Never once spent it as actual currency, purely an investment holding for me despite the whole original premise being about everyday transactions

Honestly used it for a specific travel purchase once, the transaction fees at the time made me question whether it was actually worth the hassle

Jeffy

Yeah same as most people, purely investment for me, using it as actual currency for daily purchases still feels impractical

Linda

Nah actually use it fairly regularly for specific online purchases, the convenience has improved a lot compared to a few years ago

Fox50

Weirdly used it once for a charitable donation specifically, felt like a meaningful way to use it beyond pure speculation
Never pay full price. Never.

Same purely investment answer here, the volatility alone makes using it for actual daily spending feel risky compared to regular currency

Mine's purely investment too, though I've watched merchants slowly start accepting it more which makes me think that might change over time
