Night photography always ends up with a lot of grain and noise for me. I try increasing ISO but that seems to make it worse. Is there a better way to handle low light shots?

High ISO causes that noise. The real fix is more light or longer exposure with a tripod like Amazon Basics 60-Inch Lightweight Tripod

I started using a small LED light like UBeesize LED Video Light Kit and it reduced noise a lot

Long exposure with a stable camera is key. Noise dropped massively once I stopped handholding at night

You can also shoot RAW and reduce noise in editing but getting a clean shot first is always better
Still figuring it all out

That is one way of looking at it. Classic.
