Show us your best shot from the last month, any camera counts

[Mia_59]

Phone, DSLR, mirrorless, disposable film camera you found in a drawer, all of it counts here. Just post whatever photo you took recently that you are genuinely proud of, along with a line or two about where it was taken and what settings or edit you used if you remember

I want to keep this loose rather than turning it into a strict competition, since half the fun of a thread like this is seeing the range of stuff people actually shoot day to day, not just the polished portfolio pieces. Street shots, pets, weird light through a window, all fair game

If you are just starting out with photography and feel like your stuff is not good enough to post yet, that is exactly the wrong instinct, this is meant to be a low pressure spot to share and get a bit of feedback if you want it

[GhostRider41]

Got a decent shot of golden hour light hitting some fog over a lake on my phone last week, way better than I expected for just a phone camera

[Connor82]

Took a photo of my cat mid yawn that looks completely unhinged in the best way, sharing purely for comedic value more than technical skill

[veritas.io]

Been getting back into film photography and just got a roll developed, half the shots were overexposed but a couple came out genuinely great

[BigDogShane10]

Street photography in the rain gives such good reflections, got one of neon signs bouncing off a wet sidewalk that I'm really happy with

[Drogba]

Not a great photographer at all but caught a really clean shot of a bird mid takeoff purely by lucky timing, still counts right

[Rapid Crossing]

Love this kind of thread, way less intimidating than the ones where everyone's posting studio quality work only

[Ava_75]

This thread is a breath of fresh air. Not every photo needs to be portfolio-ready to be worth sharing. Some of my favorite shots are the ones I took just for fun with no pressure.

[SpinState52]

Shot this on a disposable camera I found in my jacket pocket. The light leak on the corner is technically a flaw, but it's my favorite part. Sometimes the mistakes make the photo.

[Donna48]

Phone photography gets dismissed too much. The best camera is the one you have with you, and phones are incredible now. Don't let gear snobbery stop you from sharing.

[Jade]

Took this walking home from work. Golden hour does most of the heavy lifting, but I'm still proud of catching it. Not every shot needs a location scout and perfect timing.

[AlphaPhil33]

The "any camera counts" approach is what makes these threads special. Seen everything from film scans to phone pics to actual point-and-shoots. That variety is the whole point.

[Violet Caitlin]

Street photography doesn't need expensive gear. Some of the best shots I've seen were taken on phones or cheap compacts. It's about seeing, not spec sheets.

[TheGame92]

This one's from a random Tuesday errand. No plan, no setup, just saw something interesting and stopped. Those are usually the shots I end up liking most.

[Grace]

This shot was almost deleted. The exposure was off, the composition felt awkward. But I gave it another look and realized it had something. Don't be too quick to judge your own work.

[QuantumKnight]

The variety in this thread is the best part. One person's film grain, another's crisp phone shot, someone else's experimental long exposure. That's what makes photography fun - there's no single "right" way.

[Marnie]

The encouragement in this thread is what keeps people posting. Not everyone's confident sharing their work, but threads like this make it feel safe. That's huge for building a creative habit.

[MagnetarX]

Film's making a comeback for a reason. The limitation of 24 exposures makes you think about each shot. Digital's great, but film forces a different kind of mindfulness.

[Voyager66]

My contribution is nothing fancy - just my cat doing something ridiculous. But it made me smile, and that's what photography's about for me. Capturing moments, not perfection.

[Pipeline Courier]

Keep posting, everyone. The more people share, the more it reminds us that photography's for everyone. Gear, experience, skill level - none of that matters as much as just taking the shot.
