There's probably an art style you admire but think is beyond your skill. Hyperrealism. Abstract expressionism. Manga. Oil painting. Digital illustration. Watercolor. Comics. The intimidation is real. These styles look effortless when done well but they require technical skill that takes time. But starting is where everyone begins. The artist you admire made their first clumsy attempt at some point. What style tempts you? What would you create if skill wasn't a barrier? Maybe it's time to try. You don't have to be good at it immediately. You just have to start. Trying Something New?

I've wanted to try oil painting forever. The texture and blending looks amazing but supplies are expensive
