xAI is expanding access to Grok Bot, its autonomous AI agent that can sign into a company's software and carry out multi step tasks on its own, making it available to more SuperGrok and Cursor subscription tiers. Grok Bot launched in beta on August 11th, and xAI says users were surprised at how easy it was to get started and how much sharper the agent felt compared to other AI tools, taking tasks further without needing to be walked through every single step along the way

Grok Bot now comes included with SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Pro, Cursor Pro Plus, Cursor Ultra, and both standard and premium Cursor Teams plans, bringing the effective entry price down considerably from where it started. It comes with its own separate usage allowance too, so anything handed off to a Bot won't eat into a user's existing Grok or Cursor usage limits. xAI has also been rapidly expanding Grok 4.6 availability across other platforms recently, including Microsoft Foundry, Google's Enterprise Agent Platform and Amazon Bedrock

This kind of persistent, semi autonomous AI agent that can keep working after a user steps away represents a real shift from the simple chat interface model most people are still used to. Curious what people think about handing off actual multi step tasks to an AI agent like this rather than supervising each individual step directly
