Google keeps releasing new Gemini versions. What actually changes between versions? Is it faster? Smarter? How do they improve so fast?

Each version focuses on different improvements. Gemini 3.0 was baseline multimodal model. 3.5 emphasizes agentic capabilities and reasoning depth. Future versions will probably focus on different aspects
