AI tools get talked about constantly in sweeping, abstract terms, replacing jobs, reshaping entire industries, changing the nature of work itself, but for most people the actual day to day impact tends to be far more specific and mundane than the big headlines suggest. Maybe it is using an AI assistant to draft a first pass of an awkward email, summarising a long document you genuinely do not have time to read in full, generating boilerplate code you would otherwise have to write from scratch, or simply having something to bounce an idea off of when you are stuck.

What is interesting is how differently people actually end up using these tools depending on their specific job and habits, some people barely touch them beyond the occasional curiosity, while others have quietly rebuilt entire parts of their daily workflow around them.
