AI tools now turn up in almost every kind of creative work. Musicians use them for demos, writers for drafts, designers for backgrounds and photographers for editing. Some people use them for a single tweak, others for nearly the whole piece. That makes the question of labelling much messier than it first sounds

A blanket rule would be simple to understand. If AI was involved, say so, and let audiences decide how they feel about it. The trouble is where to draw the line. Spellcheck and autotune are both forms of automated help, and nobody expects a label for those

Some argue labels should only apply when AI generated a meaningful chunk of the final work. Others say it should depend on context, so a novel or an album would need one but a social media post would not. There is also the enforcement problem, since detection tools are unreliable and anyone can simply leave the label off

I am curious which way the forum leans. Should labelling be required, voluntary, or left to each platform? If you make things yourself, would you be happy labelling your own work?
