Feels like the line between app and assistant is disappearing fast. Instead of opening tools, you just describe what you want and something figures it out behind the scenes.

At the same time, that guessing part can be a bit spooky. When it nails it, great. When it misfires, you spend longer correcting it than just doing the task yourself :)

The command line comparison is spot on. We used to memorize exact syntax, now we just kind of vibe our way through requests.

But there is a tradeoff. Precision is harder. Saying a slightly different sentence can give a totally different result, which makes it feel less predictable than old school commands.

Part of me loves it because it lowers the barrier for non technical people. Stuff that used to require tutorials now takes a sentence.

Another part worries we are losing understanding of how things actually work. Feels a bit like using a calculator before learning basic math.
I read every reply. Even the bad ones.
