I'm cautiously optimistic, especially when AI is used in areas where people can check the results. Let it calculate a complicated spreadsheet or identify inconsistencies in a document, and I can verify the output. But if it makes a recommendation based on hidden assumptions that I can't inspect, my confidence drops. Trust should come from demonstrated reliability, not from the fact that the interface looks futuristic.
