ChatGPT also won on research, correctly looking up information about Gemini 3.8 Live, while Gemini itself fell back on its existing knowledge and claimed the product did not exist. That is an awkward result for Google

Gemini fights back strongly on integration though. It works with Google Home speakers, Nest devices and Pixel Buds, and its Personal Intelligence features can look through your email, manage your calendar and dig into Drive. ChatGPT cannot do any of that, and OpenAI's smart speaker hardware still has not arrived. Gemini also gives camera access on the free tier, while ChatGPT keeps it behind the $20 a month plan

Overall, Wankhede prefers ChatGPT Voice for general conversation because it simply feels more natural. He accepts that Gemini makes more sense if you live inside Google's world and want your assistant to do real things with your data. So the answer depends on what you want from it
